The Remains of Trees

The topic for Cee’s B&W Challenge this week is trees. The above tree lived a long life, then bobbed around Lake Wenatchee for a while before washing up on the beach at the State Park. The tree below is a former madrona on Magnolia Bluff.

    • Thanks, Trisha. When I started going through possible photos I realized that my green trees didn’t translate well to b&w, not enough contrast. Dead trees or silhouetted trees seem to work best. I did have closeups of leaves that worked really nice in b&w, but I figure I’ll save that in case a leaf topic comes up!
